About

Founders

SCRN was founded in 2015 by: Tamas Szili-Torök (Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands),
Bruno Schwagten (Middelheimziekenhuis Antwerpen, Belgium) and
Georg Nölker (Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Bad Oeynhausen, Germany)

Aims

Believing in the future of robotic technologies on one side and recognising its underrepresantation in daily clinical practice on the other side we aimed to establish a platform for users of remote technologies in cardiology. The purpose of the society is to establish a platform for users of remote technologies in cardiology.

Credo

Although all founders are electropysiologist, activities are not intended to be limited to this field or any particular technology. Although financial support will be needed and welcome – independance is a principle. Indeed, SCRN is an independent, non-profit organization.
